We are less than 100 days away people! AMC needs to start doing some teaser marketing like this for The Final 8 episodes.

Ugh. I really need to stay alive for the next five months.

Q: After five seasons on Breaking Bad, if you could pick one shot as your favorite, which would it be?
A: You’re asking me to pick a favorite child. I can’t do it! Many people have tried. Actually, one of my favorite shots is one of the simplest and it was nothing special, from a photographic point of view. But it was the shot of the single close up of Bryan when he let the Krysten Ritter character die, when he makes that decision. I just thought, “That’s cinema. That’s everything film should be.”

This explains some things.

Walt wants to be part of that world. That meth cooking world.

This scene is, in my opinion, the biggest catalyst in Walt’s transformation. His son sees him as a coward. Sure he had started cooking crystal at this point, but this moment right here, the way his own son views him… that is what drives him to embracing Heisenberg.

This is the reason I will desperately try to stay alive for at least another year.
